I think that Ne Zha is very strong, being one of the few junglers that can start with death's toll, and having really good clear and potent ganks.

These are my suggestions to change that, and make Ne Zha a viable pick in competitive play.įirst, let me tell you that I am rank 10 with Ne Zha, and I have the required (unless you like little boys dressed as little girls) Cyberpunk skin on him. Most games though, you're better off just being that 2nd solo diver to set up for the ADC/Mage to put in the work.TL DR: I think Ne Zha is a great jungler with awesome clear speed and potent ganks, but he is lackluster compared to other junglers, while having 2 of the most difficult line skill shots (used to be 3), out of maybe 10 that are the same width and only Neith's spirit arrow having pre cast delay.

If you can snow ball hard with him, then ya go full damage and try to hard carry. Like going 2-0 in that level 2 fight, then getting a 3rd kill in the duo right after. Trying to play him as a true 100-0 assassin will only work if you're able to get off to a really fast start. Use your ring toss to get the slow needed for the bois to catch up. Use your sash to hold targets inside of your mage's circles. Or take the enemy jungler out so your mid can live. Take that annoying Kephri out of the game so your team can blow up the mage. But he's best when you transition to a hybrid/tank like build where you can get in and just take a problem out of the fight. You need to build damage early of course for farm and early ganks. If you watch SPL then what Twig did with Rival. I think if you're going to play him, you need to play him as a quazi 2nd solo support like style out of the jungle. Tldr Ne Zha is a God with a very low synergy, directionless kit and hard to hit abilities when it’s imperative to hit every one. But there are definitely Gods who can do (or outdo) his level of damage and CC with a lesser degree of difficulty and awkwardness. I suppose he can be alright if you are really on point and land everything, remember beads timers, get a ring toss bounce on a wave, etc. So yeah, I’m not really a fan of him lol. The self-banish can also get you into trouble sometimes as it can buy time for the enemy team to show up. And it’s not like the sash is that easy to land either. This is bad because Ne Zha is one of those Gods where you pretty much have to use all of your abilities to kill someone. My biggest gripe with the ult is that is very hard to land. If you hit this with no ult up, trying to pop 2 and AA them for the kill can be very awkward sometimes. Also, if you miss this ability, you’re left with no more engage and you kind of just have to slink away unless you want to try again with your ult (but that’s probably not a good idea for reasons in the next paragraph).

The sash usually is a strong enough CC to warrant somebody popping beads, which will mess up your sash-ult combo leaving you vulnerable with 2 abilities down. And as with any ability with both offensive and defensive stats, you will have to choose which one you want to use it for leaving you without its other benefit for a while. Once again, not bad, just kind of out of place with random effects.

The 2 is a weird mish-mosh of bonus AS, crit chance, and a heal for some reason. So you’re left trying to kill with 3 abilities instead of 4, which most ability junglers have. The ring toss is almost useless against single targets (which junglers are supposed to be good at killing) because it only procs once against them. It also feels like they couldn’t decide whether they wanted him to be an ability jungler or a crit AA jungler.

He’s one of those Gods like Erlang where it feels like all of his abilities are just kind of random and don’t mesh together particularly well.
